While working on decluttering and simplifying my life and space, there is one collection that I admit will continue to grow -- my books.
There are always new books to buy and ones I love so much I wouldn't dare part with. Obviously, there are also some that I cannot seem to power through at all and those find their new place on a coffee shop or tea room self labelled "£1.00" or "Free"; making room for the new finds I pick up on my frequent visits to used and local book shops.
The three books above are my newest purchases which will take me through the first three months of my second "one book a month" year. I think they make for a pretty good start. Two already have Oscar nominated film adaptations and the other will soon become a film. So, I assume they will make for good reads. Did anyone ever tell you books are always better that their film counterparts? (They are! Just FYI.)
What are some books you plan on reading or have read recently? I would love more suggestions!
